The Building Bridges for Kids Summer 2014 Program hosted a “Safety Day”, in which the Starkville Fire Department visited the Boys and Girls Club and showed the children fire fighting equipment and spoke with them about the importance of avoiding safety hazards and also being prepared in the event that a fire or other disaster occurs. Safety Day was by far the favorite day of many of this year’s kids!
